Is Jesus Famous?

Matthew 9:18-34

INTRODUCTION: Mankind communicates more today than at any other point in human history. Yet, at the same time, we witness for Christ far less than the generations preceding us. With that being the case, what are we talking about? Everything under the sun, but Jesus!

I. WHAT IT MEANS TO BE FAMOUS (Matthew 9:26, 31)

II. WHEN CHRIST WAS FAMOUS (Matthew 9:18-33)

A. The Raising of Jairus’ Daughter (Matthew 9:18, 23-26)

CONCLUSION: Jesus’ fame spread abroad as lives were changed and mouths were open. When lives cease to be changed and people cease to witness of Christ’s greatness, Christ ceases to be famous among the people.
